Tour Itinerary:

• Gain insights into San culture, heritage and folklore at !Khwa ttu - their home, workplace and culture & education centre. Accredited San trackers guide you around a nature reserve teaming with birdlife, game and fynbos. Over a three hour open trailor & tractor drive and an easy nature walk, learn about their hunting methods, tracking skills, medicinal plant knowledge. Try you hand at igniting a fire with sticks, or getting your tongue around varied tones and clicks in their languages. All the while take in gorgeous views of Table Mountain to the south and Langebaan lagoon to the north.
• On return , watch a 20 minute film on San rock art, where interpretations reveal more about the San’s belief and customs of about 30 000 years ago.
• Lunch in a beautifully renovated West Coast farmhouse, adjacent to the Craft shop filled with traditional and contemporary designs, all original and produced by San people using ancient methods and tools. Exclusive… because this is an authentic joint venture, San-owned, truly Africa development project, that preserves and protects.
• Returning via the village of Darling, for another take on culture, you look around the legendary Boerassic Park, with artworks reflecting a hysterical tongue in South Africa’s historical cheek at Evita se Perron (courtesy famous satirist Peter Dirk Uys, aka Evita Bezuidenhout.)
• And to round off a unique day, take some pictures from Blouberg beach of the most stunning views of Cape Town and Table Mountain.
